Are we making an issue here of something that isn't really a problem? Everyone seems to have enjoyed yesterday the only issue was a breakdown in comunication, it's not always the best way to have a fixed route because sh*t happens and you need to be a bit flexible but maybe if there are big groups going out more phone numbers need to be exchanged to sort out where to meet up. FWIW I do like to ride as fast as I can within my limitations and like watching the faster riders making it look easy for the short time I'm in eyeshot but everyone on here has been brilliant and patient with the slower riders so I hope there aren't going to be seperate rides for different speeds of riders. It'd be great if all groups could meet up on the longer rides at a couple of points on rides but if we miss each other it's not the end of the world. I do want to get faster but that's nobodies problem but my own and if I do get dropped it's not the end of the world and I'll get home without killing myself. Even though some of the riding has looked really quick to me I've never seen anything that's been dangerous.
phil 90%of the post here are from me to martin and daz(more of a wind up than a concern) their a pair of cock swallowers, and they can both suck on my sweaty saggy balls
Yes chis I do have daves number but why would I stop to call him. When I thought you were in front off us. And we were going to meet at Aberystwyth I did not know you had gone a different way to us Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk sue
When you say a different way do you mean the right way ? And as i have had a PM from another member of your group it has become clear you and 3 others were sent the wrong way by the 3 who were at the junction when you arrived And no way were you 40 mins behind us So if any of the 3 who were at the junction would like to stand up and shed some light on why the 4 tail enders were directed LEFT then please step forward Oh and as i didn't name names Sue why do you think my coment was aimed at you ?
Yes I got back OK eventually thanks. Got back via Welshpool, Oswestry and Wrexham. 333 miles in total door to door. Walked through the front door at 11:10pm FFS. Had a good afternoon/evening though. Nice to see some familiar faces and some new ones.
I've got to say I can't understand what all the fuss is about regarding the group getting split up. When you have a group of about 14 riders your always going to have some who want to ride quicker than others, fact. I may have chosen to ride at a quicker pace myself if I still had the R1, but seeing as yesterday was the first ride out on the XJR I was never going to be pushing it anyway. Plus the fact that anything much over 85 felt like I was having my fookin head pulled off my neck. lol. It may have helped if the route had been more clearly defined, but that would only have been of benifit if someone in the tailenders knew the roads, which I would suggest none of us did. I can only speak for myself when I say it was a very good day out, if not a little too long for the time of day we set off.
Yup, but made it to the local for last orders. Didn't really like the person who's do it was anyway so wasn't too bothered.
at last osifer we have somthing in common.................welcome to the dark side fellow xjr rider, its true their no sports bike but once you get used to lugging the big sh*t about you can defo boogie on em
