top marks to Daz? for organising the run. nice route and very hard work with the amount of riders.

Wasnt happy with my bike all day. suspension was awfull. zero feel and lots of unsettled bike over the bumps. Some Silly speeds reached which was nice but its what holds me from enjoying road riding. the risk of tickets/crashes is high...and the buzz is nowhere near that of trackriding....we shall see what happens with the 675...

I'll be blunt as I rarely venture on here anymore, but some of the group riding skills today where woeful. Thee where a few bikes I steered clear of. and some that I stuck with as I felt comfortable riding amongst them.

 

Hmm, there is a wide range of skills in any group like this. Some guys have been riding for 30 years, some less than a year. I am sure everyone did the best they could, but not everyone was very experienced.
The problem is, to get experience, you need to ride when you are not experienced - Catch 22 eh?
It was a big group, and as you say, you could choose who you ride next to.

 

You will always get that with a big ride out matey. People's ability vary and not everyone is a riding God. I really enjoyed it today riding at my own pace and meetig few new faces ... and that's what matters to me.

 

well they do say confidence is close to arrogance, will have to make sure we invite valentino rossi next time

 

Only 1 bike posed a potential problem, that was the suicidal chap on the red r6 lol. I just hope he realises he has nothing to prove before he runs out luck and ends up in a head on collision. Even after me asking him to calm down he was still trying to hard keep with the faster of the group.

To be fair none in the faster group were really going balls out, I certainly wasn't I didn't even know the roads lol.

Save the balls out for the track less objects to hit when u failbail!

Cracking day tho, I've got some footage but the damn camera was bouncing around under the screen.. Not perfect footage but I'll try make a montage out of it xD

Apologies if some people thought i was overtaking for shits and giggles, I wasn't... I had the camera on and was attempting to get everyone on the vid! It failed mind you as the camera run out of memory mid run :<

ey no taking the piss power to weight mines got 29bhp and its light :shades: did you guys have a good run was in work today weather was stuning and i was like ffs wish i was in mid wales having a blast :banghead: then my boos went you could of had it off after all one of the lads didnt take the holiday :censored:

there was a map on page one for anyone to print and i must say as a 125 rider that I didnt get lost once I stayed up with Jim and the front runners all along I really dont know what the fuss is about.

Great day out - was nice to finally meet a few faces, and the bodies that go with them of course.

Was a shitter on the way home though - something gashed the rear tire on the motorways home, so get it off the mway and onto a grass verge, where shorlty afterwards the wind catches it and drops it on it's side... Ah well at least I didn't go through a fence/car/hedge today. :cheers:

 

Squirrels? I thought it was a dead badger? Rode past it twice to make sure!
