RVF Cam coves powder coated

    Tell ya what , that finish is as good as any wrinkle finish you will get from a powder coaters. :thumbsup:

    Today's progress so far (stopped for a bacon butty)

    Will be built by tonight, exhaust is on now too and all wrapped, just forgot to photograph. Will add later too

    Done :)

    Need to know what this one wire does though before I put the fairing back on?? Put it to a connector on the bottom rad and the fan came on with the ignition, any ideas where it should be?

    Excellent, job well done :thumbsup:. Looking through this has made my mind up to strip down mine completely for a good clean and spruce up when the tax expires. Looks the part that does.

    All finished and back on the road, well happy with the end result.

    Few subtle mods that I doubt many would notice but I think they're for the better.

    All gaskets replaced,
    all seals replaced,
    new radiators (top & bottom)
    Engine fully degreased
    Engine flushed
    Cooling system flushed
    Brake fluid flushed
    New pads all round
    New exhaust studs and gaskets all round
    Chain degreased (nightmare)
    Yoke reprinted in wrinkle
    Exhaust hanger in wrinkle
    All engine casings blasted and coated in wrinkle
    New silicone hoses throughout
    New sprocket front and rear
    Rear sprocket in wrinkle
    New oil (thanks Bloke (Carl))
    New oil filter
    New air filter
    Plugs cleaned (not old anywho)
    New bearings front and rear
    New honda grips
    Exhaust fully heat wrapped
    Modded bottom fairing to take a stone guard (home made)

    Now to ride the fecker and get her filthy again :)

    But first I need a paper day, fingers are falling apart, arms itchy as fk due to fibreglass :p
    finger prints are crumbling oh and a metal splinter in my eye (the joys of wire brushes + alcohol & a late night cleaning session)

    Have been buying these since I bought the bike, don't be thinking I come into money or ewt,
    But then again if I had a pocket wank ........[​IMG]

    As we all know 'man with hole in pocket feel cocky all day'

    Father bought the rads and hoses so about £200 in total, not bad for a complete overhaul

    Cheers pal. Was a lot of effort to be honest but has tidied her up no end.
