RVF Cam coves powder coated

Looking at tarting her up a big as I've decided to keep her due to funds and spending more than I wanted on new rads, so......
Who knows anyone in the merseyside/lancs are who can Matt powder coat stuff?

Looking at having these done red;

Plus the side engine cases in black Matt
And the rear sprocket (is it can be done-in black with the teeth masked out)

Type of finish I want is like this;

 

I think there is a place called A1 in Bootle.

Don't know about the matt finish but Bloke's had some wheels done which look brilliant, he'll be able to put you in touch with them.

Place off the Raindford by pass A570 near St Helens end but cant remember what they are called, heard many good words said about the .

 

Place in Aintree called Elite, their work is good but they're not the cheapest.

Elite are better than A1 from my experience. That 'crackle' effect is paint, I've never seen a powder coat finish like it.

Cam covers and sump. Doesn't include postage or postage insurance.
Invested in some rattle cans and etch primer for £16

What time are you at your place till tomorrow? Might ask one of the lads at Uni to pick up the oil for me as the bikes in many many bits

am in and out through the day tomorrow, should be back in by about 2:00 onwards though.

 

Hahaha I had to sit down when he said the price, some chirpy guy from Essex-sounded as though he was giving me a deal! I felt the cold hand of the tax man about to fiddle me once again as he didn't say if VAT was included.

Just the wheels to sort now.

 

that is astounding, i honestly can't understand how they get a price like that? you sholud ask them for a breakdown of costs.

As far as I can find they are the only UK powder coaters doing the wrinkle/crinkle finishes. It's what Ferrari do to their cam covers so had to be an Essex firm did'n it.

Does look the mutts when done though IMO
