Seconded, some "interesting" roads on the way there, lots of gravel to test everyone's obs (mine weren't up to it) and that Crossgates road gets better and better every time I ride it.

Had a fantastic day! I did have a few moments though as I was watching my rear mirror a lot due to the fact my brake lights had decided they didn't want to work and I didn't want anyone going into the back of me *ahem* sean ;)

Pretty much every type of road was there, big sweeping bends, straights with lots of dips, twisty technical stuff with lots of hazards. I'd like to say that I've walked away with a bit of extra knowledge!

Was brilliant seeing Digger shooting past me at .....mph and flicking it through chicane style corners. Really put my wallowy old bandit to shame (blaming the bike for my inferiority ;) )

Also enjoyed Beechy's and Fronkeys fly by's! I'd be going at a quick pace then something would flash by making a lot of noise and I'd shit myself for a moment!

Sean can definitely handle that drz, kneedowns, wheelies at every opportunity and proper throwing it into the bends. Riding a sumo the way it should be ridden!

Cabs riding is to be admired as even though he probably had almost the least powerful bike (drz beats it in underpoweredededness!) he's extremely smooth and I don't stand a chance keeping up when he's in his zone!

And I also want a tuono as I was behind carls after the knockin stop and every time he accelerated, no matter what gear, it looked like it was trying to launch the front wheel into the air and just take off. Looks rather exciting to ride!

As you can tell, was a brilliant ride out with brilliant company and to those that missed out, HA!

My elbows ache, probably from the angle I have to hold my bars and I've never been out on it that long haha! My feet ache too, from all the braking/gear changing! and my right hands fingers are all seized and stiff from squeezing that front brake lever a lot!

Great Picture of the Benny's. Cherry on the cake that is.
And you ache as you have a track bike on the road.

Brilliant day I clocked 310m start to finish, 175 on the way to Crossgates via Rhayader and 134m home from Crossgates, maybe because of Cabernet's magical mystery tour?? How appropriate on the way to Martin's bench that we should get lost....:p

I counted 22 NWB members at the bench plus Fat Bob's pillion and Froggy's entourage and £180 raised for the NWAA...brilliant result, thanks everybody :)
