it's light at about half four in the morning and 200 miles going the scenic way, oswestry, shrewsbury, ludlow, leominster, worcester, evesham and then yu're pretty much there. with liverpool as an average start pint i reckon that's a nice 3 1/2 hour run including brekky on the way
So what arrival time slot we booking for the Ride of Respect? Note this is arrival time and could well be a long time before the set off time.
I've booked myself a 10.00 arrival slot. That gives me the options of staying over night or riding down in the morning. If I go in advance my wife will come down so we can visit my parents the day before.
I done this ride in 2011 when it was in the second year It's very emotional and touching especially when it goes through Wotten Bassett The only down fall ill say is there is allot of waiting around! That year they had 500 bikes all stacked up in blocks of 500! So u can imagine a runway stacked up with tens of groups of 500, all moving in 15/20 min intervals! Hopefully this year will be different
can we have an update on this please? is it defo happening ( the ride) and is it a ride down though the night? or going the day before and stopping over ? thanks in advance
