Definitely up for this if we plan an NWB convoy down there. Starting @ 9am better to get down there the day before and B&B it? Camping even

as this starts on sun at 9am how about we go down on the sat stay in a B&B and make a w/end of it ??

 

im up for it! might bring a mate as pillion but chances are im going solo, just the way it should be!

 

Due to the numbers of bikes, you might struggle to get a B&B anywhere near!

My parents live in a little village called Peasemore, off the A34 near Didcot so I may head down and see them on the Saturday and stay over night in a B & B near Newbury or Didcot.

 

Find a campsite or travel lodge

There's a travelodge Newbury / Chieveley at junction 13 M4/ A34 so an easy run up to Abingdon. £22 for a room for up to three people.

 

Leave it to me as usual lol

There's always The Ride of Honour if you can't get in at Brize Norton

Bit later in the year though ( 22-09-13 )

I've been on this one the last couple of years ( it's normally earlier in the year though ............ last time was in June )

Nice ride back too through Hawes , Kirkby Lonsdale , down to Skipton , Keighley , Todmorden etc .................
