The best thing would be to put a ride up and ask for people to put their names on a list if they are interested in coming on the ride as it is posted. If they are happy with the suggested ride then arrange it via pm. That way you know exactly who is coming or not and all thw arrangements without going through 721pages of piss taking etc. I try not to comment on such posts but do occasionally when I see something that is funny etc, also some people who comment are doing so to try to give you the benefit of their experiences knowledge, they might not know that You are a knowledgeable and experienced rider and so are not in need of such assistance. Others on here however cant find the sky if they look up so always ask for advice. I can honestly say that most people on here may take the piss a bit as banter but mean nothing offensive by it, as always there are a few who do it on purpose but ignore them and stick around. I havent met you yet or been on a ride with you as i havent been available to do so. But you sound like a good bloke and someone who it would be nice to go for a ride with. Would be a shame to lose more members due to online activities when this should all be about bikes and enjoying riding them
If somebody isn't happy with the ride/route/pace on your ride don't worry let them do there own.. No point spitting your dummy out cause people don't ride in the rain on here go solo... I've posted plenty of rides here With no interest but I get out alone meaning no watching or waiting about yet if I'm off out id still post here don't let it get to you
yes and it always pisses it down when me and wardy go to the chip shop .!!!!! But thinking about the original post here Phil... weather, finances and other stuff means the less well off amongst us cant do two day rides and an over nighter because of the cost, or getting child care sorted. I would love to do wales as an over nighter or even do a proper 6 hour tour of the peak park with one day doing the dark peak and another doing to southern half . The north east would be a great ride with a stop at the keilder sky centre for a proper look at the stars,, but for now money just doesnt allow it ..... life eh? ohhh me VIP has come back... thanks guys
