Back to the point, anyone remember? My lad has got one on his bike and I hate it. I have told him he needs to fit some proper LED indicators as well. When he is in front in the daytime the indicators are really hard to see. The red of the side/brake lights swamps the orange of the indicators. I am looking for it, what chance with a distracted pensioner with poor eyesight? Before you fit one, why not ride behind someone with one fitted and see what I mean? Ps, I hate you all. Tossers
You try telling the insurance comp you crashed into back of someone because you couldn't see the brake light
This wasn't a cheap one. I thought I should mention it because I think they are pretty dangerous. I am all in favour of loud cans, small plates - Whatever. But I am worried about this on my lads bike and thought it was worth warning peeps on here. The other thing is the position. Other drivers are used to looking 50cm left or right of our number plates for a clue to what we are about to do. I think many will miss an integrated light. Bit of an own goal eh?
Thank you all for your help and thoughts the use of intergrated lights, i did'nt know i was going to open up such a big can of worms. Now that i have all the pros and cons i can make an informed choice as to get one or not. Thanks again everyone most helpful.
It only flashes when the rear brake is applied then turns solid on suppose to show indicator as well but front is off bike so there just solid
Ok it's like politics on here don't let other people decide your vote when it comes down to it it is your licence and know how of the law so if you get one that makes it so brake light and indicators can not be distinguished then dont say the cops here didnt tell you lmfao but if yours still can comply to the European laws then sit back admire your bike for the cosmetic appearance and give everyone the middle finger.
