and if yer wanna see how fast you all are,they do good track days at Oulton Park.[no limits do em]yes we fuk about on the roads,but for me the proper hoof down stuff should be for the track or out in the sticks. :wink:

 

Well from now on i'm going to be right at the back.
because i want to see more people out again.

Still... its cool. i dont mind plodding along if im in a group.

 

The most important thing to remember is that we all have different riding abbilities and different machines and nobody should be made to feel that they "should keep up" thats where people get hurt - keep an eye out for each other, there are enough tits out there trying to take us out lets not do it to ourselves.

They do bugger off on you, but they wait when they are going to be changing direction etc. Fair enough tbh, they have the bigger bikes, we shouldnt ruin their fun.

I agree lol but can i just say not every ride has been bad lol i have had fun times out as so has every1 else probably i just thought this was something that needed addressing

 

In all fairness its always been the case that the bigger bikes do tend to loon off on a straight, As Scott has said if there is to be any change of direction you will approach a queue of panting bikes waiting for you on the left ready to show you where to go next.

I'm far from the fastest rider out there and tend to stay with the slower riders to make sure all are ok. If I do have a loon I will soon pull over and wait for the others and vice versa.

Getting lost will happen for what ever reason, and its hard to communicate when the person you are trying to ring is back on the bike looking for you. So some slack should be honoured there.

Meeting up on rideouts is getting to know other riders quirks and styles, I know when we get on the twistys I'm going to see brake lights fading into the distance as I pooter along fearfully observing the piles of poo and mud at regular intervals along the road. I ride it at my own pace may take me 5 minutes may take me an hour I know they will wait.

Again I dont think anyone is to blame in this instance. Better guidelines can be set out, apologies made, but dont point the finger and make people out to be something there not.

This is a lesson learned on all counts.

as falcoln said, the thread said...bay horse, southport scotch piper. and when we was at the carousel in southport, we were told that we were off to the scotch piper, is wasnt soo much hoonin off that lost ya is was the busy traffic. and when we got there we tried ringing mav on my fone but didnt get an answer, and didnt have jades number to ring her. as for not waiting behind......who pulled up when mav lost his wing mirror and showed you the way? and the others waited for us further down the road, as they usually do if you get split.

And sorry to say it chadz but I have noticed how negative and patronising you are towards the other members.....you really dont have much nice to say to people do you?

 

Wayne I think you need to keep out of this, you have voiced your opinion, the dust had settled Jade had made her point and you have to continue it on. Even she has told you to leave off. So take heed will you.

Not once has anyone said that you have named "names" per say. Just that we all know who was on that ride out and who went missing doesnt take much common sence (although you do have a distinct lack of it) to realise who is being scapegoated here.

 

Right i think from now on we should all swap numbers so just to make sure, i know most have but just to make it deffo that we all do. I know i don't have every ones number!!!!!
