Whats the point in oraganising Ride outs when PPl Just feck off and leave riders behind!! How nasty is that! If i had not have stayed with mav last night he would have probably got lost! Unless some ppl havent noticed we all have different bikes and we should cater for each other! Not ride as fast as we can and get people lost its stupid and dangerous! Communication on ride outs with this forum is pathetic me and mav hadnt a clue where we was going last nite no1 sed nothing to us and every one shot off and left us oh and no1 noticed or bothered to stop or even call! We had even tried contcting them with no avail! Is it just me who thinks that the person in front should no where they are going and someone at the back should also too and maybe sum1 in the middle. On other ride outs the slowest person sets the pace. How u expect sum1 on a 2stroke to cruise at 70-80mph is beyond me! Oh and apparantly they all do this to mav all the time! Well mav if i were you id ride with sum decent ppl who dont just leave you!

So guess i wont be seeing much of any1 anymore ciow!

Gotta say i havent been left behind yet.. Ive always found that someone will wait if im a lil slow...

As you know i ride a 2 stroke and dont have a problem keeping up with the group... and when out with restricted riders ( 40mph ) someone always stayed back...

Maybe peeps should alternate the rideouts.. set some for 125'ers only.... And others for those who wanna ride to extremes !!

Not trying to split the group, as there are 7 days in a week, can still keep the full forum rideouts aswell..

    Just my 2p

totally agree with what jade says.... thats one of my main reasons for not comming out lastnight as i told a few over msn last night... and i think everyone heard me complain about being left when i came to warrington.. its quite scary on them national speed limit roads with no lights and being left behind lol. im glad jade has brought this up, id like to enjoy a ride... not play catch up all the time. The second time i came for a ride out i really enjoyed that, i got waited for and no one raced off, carrie and chris (spikeytaff) really helped me out that night to (cheers again). Sorry for complaining but i only think its fair it gets said, and i do really miss not comming on these rideouts with you all.

How about go and moan at the people who apparently "left you behind". I wasn't there so I'm not gonna comment. I think chadz should stay out of it too as he wasn't there either.

As for the nuzzo comment, was you there? - No.

We attempted to call Mav from Carl's phone after i received a text asking where we was.

It was a straight road up to the scotch piper. thats why we went for it, expecting people to just follow straight up the road.

there were 2 roundabouts (both tiny painted ones) which again, were straight across.

I can honestly say I don't like leaving anyone behind, 125's are always welcome!

Also you where told we are going Carl's Pub then to Southport and Scotch Piper.

If you don't want to come out with us thats your problem. I've rode with Mav for along time. I'm pretty sure he will know that this wasn't done intentionally.

and for Chadz, shut your mouth. recently you have been a complete bellend and im not the first to notice it.

don't be a keyboard warrior, if you want to retaliate come do it in person.

Usuallywe do have someone stay at the back of the pack who knows the route and do communicate pretty well. I wasn't there SO i can't say what happened. But last year I used to ride with the slower riders on the 125s and less confident ones ( inc me at times ). So please take a deep breath and I am sure they are sorry If you got lost, but don't worry I have less then 4 weeks till I'm back on the road! :D

thankyou to you kez, and the other people who hang back, all credit to you all. i know it must be boring sitting with us 125'ers.

and for the rest, unless you have acctually been left behind theres no call for having a go at people expressing an opinion and being mad. Someone just has to be mature enough and say yep we did accidentaly leave them behind and then apologize eazy enuff yes?

We all are on here for one reason, we ride bikes and love it... why should the slower bikers not get that decent experience.

ok im done. any1 has a go at me for this comment i dont care but i wont be staying if i do get it in the ear.

Helen, I think Tom was referring to chadz and not the slower riders

I honestly dont think anyone should be having a go at anyone.. It were an accident, I've been out with the lads who were out last night and can confidently say that none of them would intentionally leave some one behind !!

Ive been out with other groups that wouldnt give a flyin fk if you could keep up or not !! And have been lost in the middle of north wales because of em !!

So i know how you feel Jade, but i also know that the ppl u were with last night would not have done it intentionally...

I'm not the fastest person out there - More than happy to hang back for the people on smaller bikes.

In all honestly I don't really like tanking it when there's other bikes around. Don't be disheartened, just need some organisation for next rideout :)

paul i know u wernt there and i know u wait for people and i do like riding with u and with the rest of ya if every1 knew where they were going and whats happening it would be alot less frustrating and more enjoyable, just more communication needs to be sorted out .ive never been to the scotch and so dont know the way so how do i know its in a straight line and obviously mav never knew they way either.

As for you ringing mav he never said you did and i did pass on my mobile number too you too but u never rang that.

LOL jade u wern't the only one who they left behind last night. The buggers left without me pmsfl, but as i have been in the bikeing world since i was little things like this happen so i wasn't botherd.
And sorry i don't belive that every ride out has been bad, because i know that tom on many rides has been with the slower lot.

As me and tina have sat nav if any of the slow riders are wurried about getting left behind, i will stay behind at the back and lead the slower lot, as i don't mind at all if it will help.
As i don't want this to stop so many of N.W.B members coming out as it should be for all of us to enjoy.
I know how u feel people who come out and wurry that you are trying to keep up all the time, i used to ride with mc clubs and i was always getting left behind, and it pissed me off so much.
I do think when N.W.B doe's have big ride out we should work out who's at the frount and who should be at the back makeing sure everyone is kept together, and there should have to be a stop on over taking that causes the group to be broken up, as that doe's as i have seen cause half of the trouble. And for a new rider it can be very scary trying to over take when they don't feel they can.

I don't want to bitch but this is an issue that needs to be sorted otherwise N.W.B rides will get smaller and smaller as less new riders will feel comfy with coming out.

You lot need to practice using a marker system:

    The Marker System

This requires a leader, a tailender, and the riders(you!).

The leader - is familiar with the route, and follows it. He should carry a mobile in case of problems on route. He should point out to the first person behind him where to sit to be best positioned to mark each junction.

The tailender - is idealy familiar with the route also, but doesnt have to be. They will stay at the back for the entire ride and will be pointed out at the beginning of the ride. (They may wear a fluro vest to make them obvious). The tailender is exactly that, everyone else stays in front of them, so they should move the junction marker on once they arrive, this also ensures there is no confusion as to who is the rear bike.
They should carry a mobile with the leaders number in case of problems on route.
If anyone drops out of the group the tailender should stop with them and find out what is going on.
If there is a problem they should get in touch with the leader, or if they are just stopping for a pee wait with them so the marker stays in place at the next junction.

The riders - at any point the route deviates from the strip of tarmac in front, the first of the riders behind the leader will stop to mark the way at the junction in a place prominent to the rest of the following group.
THEY MUST NOT MOVE UNTIL THE TAILENDER ARRIVES.
If it seems like you have waited ages, wait some more. If they still havent arrived, phone the leader as he may have heard from them.

Once the tailender has arrived, the junction marker can then work their way carefully back towards the front. Overtaking is encouraged, but please be courteous!
If anyone sees someone making dangerous overtakes (repeateadly - we all make mistakes sometimes) point it out to the leader, who will have a quiet word. If they carry on they will be asked to leave.
Meanwhile the group all move forward one, so number two, becomes number one behind the leader so marks the next junction.

If riders are going to drop off the back of the group (behind the tail ender), they must inform the tailender what's going on.

Takes a bit of pracice to get it right (and find the right place to stop if you are the marker) but I have ridden with a number of clubs and forums who use it and it does work.

sounds like you all had a good night, :D its simple no one passes the lead bike and the lead bike keeps his eye on his mirrors,if anyone is laggin flashin headlight to tell the lead bike and in turn he will slow down and let the group catch up voila. [and if the quicker bikes are not goig to wait, the rest of the pack should be made aware and left with directions,as opposed to bieng scattered everywhere, but this should never happen and be sorted out before the ride starts.]
