yes 14 I parked up with guy I chatted to last time he was really helpful (telling me to hang off more lol)
Also home safe and sound. Special thanks to: Antzx6r for karting all my stuff there and back home in his van. Dayo for stuffing my baffle with his beard after it failed the noise test. Exoldracergit for the timings and the escort home. Fantastic day out with a good bunch of lads Antzx6r, Dayo, Finny, Sean, C-J, Dougall, Mike and Exoldracergit
That wasn't really a moment.. You just stuffed it up the inside of the bend hard on the brakes like a hero!... Then as your hero blob stuck into the Tarmac it all went a bit...... Get yerself summat with a bit more poke on the straights and you'll be flying round in inters...
:bleh: Was more zero than hero. Yes im going test ride couple of bikes asap fed up trying to wring the neck out the fz6 down the straights. Did half fancy an r1 but that one put me off today
Hell of a day ride as hard as my bike would let me Just love oulton park hoping to be back in June again Learned a lot more about the bike lots of homework to think about Glad we stayed sunny side up Great day both on track and off Roll on the next playing out time
Couple of my vids couldnt be arsed editing so youll have to skip a bit at the beginning :-d http://youtu.be/bkRD6-gCk-o http://youtu.be/1e3Kbq4mfr4 From the times on the vid that i can workout i was doing 2.20ish laps, a couple of yous commented i should try inters, would that sort of time make me a moving chicane or would i be relatively ok ? Or should i do another in novice ?
Top day yesterday, Few firsts for me, 1st knee down with wets on 1st time in the fast group Next one cant come round fast enough Dougall youre well ready for Inters
It's not just the times that determine which group you should be in, it's also the lines you take around the track. In Novice group there's a broad range of riding skills starting from the 60 mph plodder who's consistently on the wrong line, right through to an intermediate rider who wans to ride with a mate new to track days. Your lines are consistent and I believe you're ready for intermediate group See you at the next trackday in intermediate!
