I've asked him to see if he can get the day off we can come over and watch then and I can bring my camera.

Kat
I've managed to get my booking changed over to the fast group But I'm bedding in new front brakes pads and getting use to my quick action throttle ! Well that Will be excuse anyways lol
I'm thinking of getting a remote helicopter ! Fitting my camera to it flying it out of my van parked outside oulton Try and get an aerial view of the track and riders lol Bit mad but to you think I'd get tazered by the fuzz or attacked by the oulton park staff
Often thought about doing this.... used to play with RC choppers all the time... (what a geek).... The thing now is the quadrotors (google them).... They're fully gyro stabalised, and really responsive.... Trouble is of owt went wrong and it dropped on the track you might be in trouble... There's loads of video's out there for quadcopters and gopros mounted... Have you seen the gopro helmet rotor footage ??? youd look daft on track but the results are cool as http://youtu.be/cqolouFWLl0
Looks ok different angle could work I got a gyro mounting made in work for my bullet camera but never really mastered the design as its a bit Heavy its made from metal can only mount it on the petrol tank and the rear seat cowl
i saw a lad doing this at Donnington last year ,its a good track cos from redgate you can drive around the outside all the way up to coppice. he had a remote helicopter with video camera attached, he was operating it form a moving car the his mate was driving . fuk me it went high up. it never actually hovered over the track ..just down the side of the fence. bet the results where great
Ant you own this thread, can you edit your first post and put a list of people and the groups they're in.
Long night last night in the garage trying to get the bike ready for Oulton Park (go to Spa this weekend). Cross fingers I will be ok, if not well lets put it down to experience. Anyone that wants any advice, let me know and I can go over a few things with you. See you all next week, either way.
If you are going to attend this trackday, please can you state which group you have booked to ride in and I'll add it to the list. For members just wanting to come and have a look or drop in for a brew and chat, please state you will be a spectator so others on NWB can see the number of members turning out for this event, and so more will join us. The more the merrier!
