had a cracking run tonight - cheers fr organising elliot was a nice pace - sedate but respectable, nobody got lost, no long waits and 99% of the time everyone's lamp was in sight. everyone seemed happy pulling over to regroup after intense sections of bends - i thought it was important not to lose sight of people seeing as it was dark and some hadnt been on that route before but was some beltin roads, even in the dark. see i think it's better on a slower ride to pick roads where it's not really possible to go hell for leather, so riders who usually race off can still enjoy the ride. i was quite happy pootling along 45-70 & tbh on some of the twisty bits that is quick enough lol :O same bloody left hander caught me out again though on the road from long hill to rainow! very deceptive indeed! think it would be nice to do this route in daylight and also take in some of the other tight twisty roads around the area. all in i covered 78 miles, which is enough for an evening ride tbh with some good stops and a laff, good food and good company cheers  *oh an daz - it didnt rain
Excellent ride, superb roads, fine weather, good company and the world's biggest kebab (no not you Sue ) What more can you ask of an evening? Cheers all
tell u what mate if you can finish one of them fkers you are my hero! pmsl at oliver's face trying to get through one! and manxgraham the other night with his 4 kilo chef's special! the dickhead behind the counter served me a giant donna in a naan when i asked for a lamb tikka but got £1 off. &beer is top in the pub next door too is defo my fave destination atm
Can't get over how I didn't wreck with that stupid visor! :O Thanks to all that turned up. The perfect speed with a good mix of abilities. A grade ride guys (and girl) same again soon!
Defo, thanks for arranging it, have to sort a weekend one (less than 350 miles Mart) soon so we can do the interesting bits in daylight.
nice run out. couldn't work out why my back end kept locking up and squirming then remembered just as i was putting it away i'd stuck smaller front sprocket on yesterday!!
I left all the bread!! Next time I'm gonna ask for a kebab without any bread...oh yeah that's called MEEEEAAAATTTT izza:
Another great ride out to the best resturant in the western hemisphere. A good pace, given the mixed abilities, progressive at all times....on DRY roads. Good to meet some more new faces. SaintsDude, no chance of Kebeb shits my friend, as the cuisine is pure quality. Never mind that you did not make it, I still have that half a kebab in a doggy bag you mentioned from Monday eve. It has grown a little green beard now, but you will be OK with some extra chilli on it.
Martin.....same left hander, same result second time around!!!!! Would another attempt at this route be tempting fate?
