Orange run evening. 20-23

Any evening between 20th and the 23rd.

I want a little run out with a relax atmosphere, perhaps up to Buxton or similar?

Not riding to lose my licence or life just to have fun

Yea I'm not saying slow but I'm not going full throttle everywhere.

When shall we do it? Some good pubs chippys up that way we can stop at.

Let's have a ride out to enjoy the ride and the stopping off have a mess about and come home smiling

theres some cracking roads round there.... like hope vally and beyond, round jodrell bank, goyt valley into congleton the twisty way...
only thing is it goes dark very quick, by 9pm there is no light over there so itd have to be an early start and on the way back by 9ish

clear visors a must! and take some wipes or a damp flannel tucked down the clocks for cleaning your visor cos theres clouds of flies in the air at dusk and you cant see fk all after 20 mile at a fair pace lol

best thing about that area (for me anyway) is its only half a hr away so i can get more miles in without having to spend ages on boring roads to get to the twisty bits.
betwsy coed and stuff is great but at this time of year its going dark by the time we get there, then a mindnumbing ride back on either the a55 or m56.

same with heading toward the lakes or hawes etc... takes too long to get there. thats a weekend ride tbh once the dark nights start closing in

Im not up for Wales as its (like benny said) too far for a evening ride ATM.

Right Thursday 6-6:30 at Lymm services? We'll head to c&f then right over the really fun bits then back round to Buxton to eat and home which ever way people want. Finish around 9:30-10?

 

The Llanberis one would be good for a weekend cos of the time it gets dark, it'd be a shame to ride up the pass in the dark.
