done that mate and no luck, cant seem to find any earths just found a wireing diagram but messed with me head lol couldnt understand it
Could be a high resistance joint, clean and tighten all conections. Clean any corrosion from bulb housings, remove one bulb or totally disconnect each indicator one at a time to fault find. However it is more likely to be an earth fault as both sides don't flash!. Not certain how it's wired but might be worth cleaning the switch contacts on your bars. Good luck
o/ Raptor owner! Dont know if your a part of it, but http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/ might be able to help?
when you cancel the indicators do they go off ?? Unplug the connectors to one indicator, set multimeter to volts DC and test for voltage on one cable or the other .... 12V ? ok now set the multimeter to Ohms (resistance) and switch off the ignition coz you're done with voltage for now (if you're attacking electrics you HAVE to have a basic idea and some basic form of testing for voltage otherwise you'll just confuse yourself) connect one lead to the other cable (dont forget - the loom side, not the indicator side) and then put the other lead to a point on the frame/subframe/engine. Whats the reading ? Anything around 0.2 ohms is fine. Anything higher needs investigating. Are all the other electrics ok ? If yes, you're gonna need to test the relay. PS just a visual isnt good enough to test earths, ive seen loads of 'good' earth points that once removed, reveal acres of crusty rust that was just itching to get out from under a nut/bolt ... It is a very simple circuit compared to others. Just logically check through it
