newbie with eletric

    well my indicators arnt working and are staying on constant somebody's mentioned check earth leads? what do they look like im presuming green but cant find em moved loom about ect no luck checked flasher re-lay and working fine?

    The bullet connectors ok? (at the end of each indicator)

    So they flash when you indicate then ?

    if i flick it to the left they stay on solid same with right

    Looks like the flasher relay has welded its contacts together to me.

    i bought a new flasher relay its deffo not that mate unsure what it can be

    should be the relay, check the relay plug/socket.

    has it got hazard lights by the way?

    nope to hazard light and like i say ive bought a new flasher relay and fitted it still the same

    Your earth wires are
    they are Black mate.front and back will be connected together,by that i mean if you follow the black wires from the 2 front indicators you will see the 2 black wires go into one connector and ditto for the rear
    there will be a secondary colour for the power circuit to each indicator,take all the earths apart clean the bullets with wire wool or similar

    Has this just happened or have you done some work on it ?
    Correct bulbs fitted ?
    They go off if you take the flasher relay out ?

    First things first get a manual so you know what you're looking at / for. If the lights are on solid it means you're getting constant voltage to them same as if you wired them direct to + and - on the battery. Are there any other symptoms, problems with anything else that you're experiencing?

    Just fitted a tre to it - if I unplug that still the same normal bulbs non led when I flash main beam indicators go dull = short?

    Timein retarding eliminator or along them lines makes the bike think its in 5-6 in 1st 2nd and 3rd

    And all was well before you fitted that ?

    Yea but traced all wires near that all are fine + it was only 1 plugin cable to fit

    could be short, poss bad earth.
