How can i get a nice sounding can on my bike??

Its got the exup valve in place & a massive cat with 02 sensor underneath :(

If i just put a stubby slip on its not going to make any difference.

    Any Ideas?

You can saw the cat and the muffler (the big box) of at the weld so you don't have to change the headers and just get a link pipe then a slip on

Yep that's the way Kev. Remove the cat and end can. Fit a new link pipe to do away with the cat, then a can to fit the link pipe. You could go the full system route .akrapovic etc, but your talking large kudos. Get some flames out with those though mate

another option if you don't wanna cut your exhaust up
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-R6...42?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item19dd2c11aa

you will also need a Servo Buddy to remove the FI fault light once you've removed the old exhaust system with its EXUP valve
doing this with a decent end can will give you a decent power & sound

If you do this you would really need to get the bike on a dyno then you've the option of ecu flashed with a new fuel map or power commander the first option is cheaper

I've done the decat on my old gsxr k6 600 & its worth doing:thumbsup:
