awesome this mate, ive just ordered myself some rep Fairings, glad i never went for Movistar now cus you beat me to it haha.
thanks mate, and i was going to go for repsol but decided to get movistar ones cause i prefer metallic. Get some pics up when you recieve them and pics of putting them on, you wont be disappointed
What size are the angel eyes in it? Was gna get some for mine but didnt know what size and then never got round to it. May still pop some on before I sell it.
There not actual angel eyes they are led strips that i wired up to the side lights, only cost me £2.62 Get them from ebay 24 leds in a strip here is a link to them http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2563da429e All you have to do is connect them to side light wires with bullet connectors. there ok for road use aswell i ride with mine on all the time and never had police say anything about them even at night, they are very bright at night aswell just like having your main beam on. Was going to say aswell matty, m guessing you have an nc23 from your pics? If you ever need any parts give me a shout i have alot of spares. Oh and when you sell it let me know im after another fully built for the missus. Might have another 2 coming in aswell to build, so gonna be over run with projects lol
Cheers pal, will take a look at them. Its currently in my garage waiting to be fixed, had a few electrical problems :/ I think its the reg/rec but needs a new battery too.
Yeah reg/rec is a common problem on the nc23's, best thing to do is get an r6 or r1 reg/rec and wire that up will last alot longer than standard nc23 one does.
Well the bike is having a few more bits done to it as it died on me and after trying everything i could it just wouldnt get a spark . Picking up another engine tomorrow as a spare, getting gf programmable hrc mapped cdi, new loom, reg/rec, light control, spark plugs and what ever i think to go on the list. Already took sub frame off and sprayed it silver will get a pic later. Fairing, engine and loom is out waiting for new loom and going to wack the other engine in to see if it runs. Keeping the movistar fairings as there still brand new only got about 10 miles on them since i bought them over a year ago lol, but i do need to make some kind of fasterners to hold the centre pieces to the nose cone as there not the best fit and come out when riding the bike already learnt my lesson when the right hand one flew off and smashed on my leg lol. Anyway this is how she stands at the moment Just sent payment To Mr France for these goodies New CDI - HRC MAPPED IGNITECH UNIT Used Wiring loom (untouched) - Good used OE Item New Exhaust stud x 8 New Exhaust gasket (copper) x 4 Used Left hand light control - good OE Item New Regulator / rectifier - Japanese Made Heavy Duty finned OE item New SPARK PLUG - NGK FAST ROAD IRIDIUM CR9EHIX-9 x 4 Cant wait to see how this runs with the hrc cdi and what it does to the performance , the cdi comes with a disc aswell you i can remap it Going to pick up another engine tonight aswell so soon as GF parts arrive i can crack on with the nc23. Just waiting for the head gasket, sump gasket, wheels and cylinders to carry on with the nc29 Also ordered new fuel pump and indicators EDIT: went to get this spare engine turned out when i got there its an nc29 engine not 23 but oh well got a spare for the 29 lol

f*ck that then never coming riding with you that ridiculous speeds wouldnt like my odds :S eeeeek hahahahahahahahhaha
Right seen as though i got lots of goodies delivered today i started getting the bike back together, got the sub frame on wiring loom in, new fuel pump on, hrc mapped cdi in, new indicators on, light control on. Also noticed my indicator relay had seen better days so i took the indicator and fuel relay from the nc29's loom, will worry about the relays for the 29 when its at the point of starting. Just need to get the engine in now waiting for new oil and filter should be here today/tomorrow then can get her cranked over. Some pics for you All the goodies which came, ignitech hrc mapped cdi, wiring loom, light control, fuel pump, indicators, reg/rec, exhaust studs and gaskets, and iridium plugs Here is the indicator relay doesnt look too good lol How she sits at the moment Ignitech cdi fitted Fuel pump fitted and tidied up the wires etc Anyway thats it for now, cant wait to get it back on the road wont be long now Going to hook it upto laptop after i balance the carbs and see whats what Adam
Cheers bud. Well got the engine in last night everything wired up, had a few problems with a dodgy starter solinoid so sorted that now, then was having problems with it not even trying to start, turned out to be a dodgy connection on the ignition fuse so thats now sorted. Made sure she is sparking and everything is fine so far . Now got to wait for oil, oil filter and coolant to come and then can get some fuel and get her fired up, cant put it together completely as have to get it down the stairs and out the flat before i build it up lmao. But hoping to have it started for tuesday then built up by wednesday then can get it in for the mot and get it taxed. Then all that will need doing is balance the carbs and plug the ignitech in and check out how its running on the laptop Will post some pics up soon.
Few pics for you, got the engine in carbs hooked up ready to start now just waiting for new oil, oil filter and coolant to turn up then can get her started and built up Nice clean carbs with GF dyno jets Adam
Well i got the bike out the flat and built up today before i put the fairings on i started her up and WOW, she has never run so good since i have owned her. Not 1 cough of splutter on idle its just smooth idle at a constant note, very happy with the investment of the ignitech cdi. Only problem now is my rear caliper is so siezed i cant take it apart to clean it , might put it in a bucket or gunk cleaner see if that helps. Here is a video i did of it running, first bit the choke is on but can tell when i turn choke off just how well it runs. BIG thanks to Mr. France http://youtu.be/e5H09KS73-w
The ignitech hrc mapped cdi is defo the best investment i have made for the bike, just cant wait to get it mot'd and taxed now and see how it performs
