honest m8 i cant see him going to the same lengths and i am a meticulous fker lol. and thing is, if you can get a spare engine i'll do them all the same cos they will fail. theres no doubt on that lol. yours will fly with the same mods as theres no plastics on it. but you'll need to make a belly for it tho for ram air cooling. save your £ for the dyno runs just to check the fuelling. i reckon as well m8, its worth keeping the oil tank as well as premixing if you can, but back the pump right off so it only works on full throttle. just a bit of insurance
Ok so I havent been doing a lot to the bike until recently, I was going to take it to Joe but I kept changing my mind on how I what I wanted doing. Anyway my mate Dean has a welder in his garage so we took it down there and made a start, its almost complete but we do need to grind it all down and polish a bit up ready for powder coating. OK so the frame is coming on well and ive decided to scrap the Peugeot idea and run with a Gillera Runner loom and engine as you can squeeze the engine to death I have the donar bike and I will start on that and fitting the engine once the frame is complete, I still have to mount the radiator on the frame & hide the hoses. Mounting the Gilera engine is easy as Speed 6 actually offer the mounting kit. More updates to follow.
I now have a liquid cooled Gilera engine to shor horn into the frame, just bought one of these to fit it to the frame

looks ok to me m8... i'd just scuff it up with w&d and fit a new set of rings and seals stripped mine at weekend - fkin piston circlip had come out

lol cheap sh*t stage6 circlips lol. fortunately it just put a dent in the crown and no marks on the bore :S just as well cos i can only go .5mm over with it - its the one with the 185 piston. you know me m8 i cant leave fk all alone lol! blew another head gasket as well (maybe when it hit the clip) so it's now running on a gasket made from a caffreys can lol :cheers:
