After years of being a beer swilling fat f*cker I've turned a corner I was 24 stone at Xmas I'm now 22 but I can do a lot better. This is me now and I'm gonna update the thread every month to see the progress.

I'm on a no carb diet eating shit loads of veg and fruit with chicken fish and turkey, so don't stand behind me. I will on special occasions drink beer but not very often.

I know your gonna rip me to death but by putting it up here I'm forced to see it through.

Good for you, Daz. Public progression, I think, would be a pure source of motivation for you.

I wish you the best of luck and health!

Daz you wont find too many vegatables and fruits with no carbs.
dont get hung up on food groups. cut out beer, sh*te foods, and limit bread to a few slices a day.
i tried the slimming world diet with the mrs. extra easy one. brilliant stuff. your never hungry. eat loads and weight drops off!

    Good luck anyway.

I'm looking for a Guinea Pig to trial my new special diet. It could be worth millions!

Basically, you can eat what you want, when you want and as much as you want. The trick part of the diet is you need to neck a litre of prune juice at 6 in the morning and another at 6pm.

The weight will fall off you!

The only known side effect is that you'll end up with an arse like a Japanese Flag and the price of Andrex will go through the roof!

Imo the worst diet going. youll lose weight really fast. feel terrible doing it. and put it back on nearly as fast.
ive done it twice. lost 2 stone in 2 weeks. never again.

Good on you, mate :) There are indeed loads of different diets and it may be a case of trial and error for a bit but it's the will to make the change that is 95% of the battle :)

Good luck mate. Healthy lifestyle and gradual exercise even as gradual as a walk every few days and your weight will fall off.

Respect, way to go mate. Throw in at least an hour of exercise every day, brisk walk jogging etc as well

The easy part is getting it off, keeping it off is the hard bit.

To motivate yourself a bit more do a sponsored weight loss for the air ambulance

I forgot to mention I swim a mile 5 days a week and I have an hour in the gym 3 days a week so I'm expecting to see some good results. A nice healthy 16 stone by this time next year. :D

good on ya mate, im on a diet and hitting the gym, ive put on 2 stone and a jean size in the last 12 months, and considering when my dad was my age he was a size 28 waist and 8 stone, im a 34 waist 13 stone and now hes 20 stone i decided to nip it in the bud early.

eating little an often with a wholegrain breakfast to start the day, plenty of water atleast 3 ltr a day, i also take 2x200mg caffine tablets and an asprin in the morning and green tea tablets after tea in the evening to speed up my metabolism.

im actually contemplating some natural T5s i know a few lads an girls who use them and the weight just drops off them and they eat what they want.
