totally agree Rich, and since im at work and not riding im going to tell you why! If i want to go out and have a spirited run i txt Sean,Dave,daz,martin, see who's out and go for a ride, i dont use the forum(sorry paul) if i post on the forum a run I whole heartedly expect there to be a massive difference between front and back and will will expect a lot of stops waiting for back marker, this is what i class as a group ride! and it should be suitable for the group........the entire group! The group go's out together and they should come home together(well at liest to the meeting point) I have noticed every time someone who aint the quickest post up a run......Boom thread hijacked and were back to fast and slow group bullshit just my point of view
The point you all seem to be missing here is.....if you can not keep up with the people in front of you, and don't know where you are going you need some one to stay with you that does......that is the only reason for the fast and slow phrase ......i don,t care if people what to ride faster and not wait for others.....but if its a ride out we all need to know where we are going, i never thought it would upset people the way it has....but i thought the idea of the forum was to meet each other and have fun, maybe i should just get a sat nav and ride on my own
