so it,s been a year on the 15th since the sad loss of one of our members. i spoke to jordy at the scotch last night and he is on about organising a ride out on sun 14th back upto the accident site. i know people have a lot of things on but it would be great to see a good turn out for one of our fallen members.
so people from the liverpool area if we can arrange to mmet up at say the showcase at 9 and leave at 9.30 how does this sound?
feedback on this topic would be good .
    thanks Rod

The site of the accident isn't a good place to stop on a ride out.

A big memorial ride out, while a good idea, maybe shouldn't be to the site on the day.

I've spoken to Daz and others who were there on the day and we had talked about going down on the day for a private moment.

    agree with that rob..

maybe it would be more tastefull if just those who were out on the ride with him went & laid a wreath at the scene?
but it is touching that he is remembered and that you want to do something for him.

Kinda got a point here please font take this the wrong way but I had asked jordy at Oulton as one of his best mates if he would like to come along on a small ride out.

So here's the thing everyone will want to go for sure so why don't we meet up and head down in small groups to the cafe down the road from the site then head up in small groups maybe, now this could be the week after or on the day.

Personally I still have some Demons to address about the day so I would like to go with the guys that were there but I know everyone wants to be involved so please post your ideas.

Let's have an open discussion because we all fealt it didn't we.

i managed to make last years memorial ride, and would be honoured to do the same ride again. tbh i wouldnt be really comfortable going to the accident scene as i wasnt there, and i think this should be for the few that were (plus close friends etc).

think the mass ride to ponderosa for all, and just a few to pay respects at the scene might be best?

agree with lee here i to went on the memorial ride and it was a awe inspiring site at times think a mass ride to the ponderosa would be ideal and just the riders who were with him at the time go to the scene

I'm in Stoke on the anniversary with the other half. Plan is her in the car and I take my bike and on the Sunday go our separate ways. How about anyone who wants to meet upat Knutsford Services, group ride, but stop prior to the site. Those who were there plus Krewy's mates can go ahead and stop at the site, while the remainder carry on and stop at Crossgates Café, where everyone meets back up for the ride back?

Well il ride and wait at the cafe dont want to be at the site especialy as i would imagine his family may be there and need a quiet time, im happy to go with what ever the plan is even if it means not riding. but i may look bad if his family is there and only a small group are out, might look like we couldnt be bothered making the effort.

ITS A LONG WAY FROM THE PONDEROSA TO THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT.
MOZZER HAS A POINT SAYING IT MAY LOOK LIKE WE COULDNT BE BOTHERD, SO HOW ABOUT EVERYBODY MEETING AT THE PONDEROSA, THEN HAVING A RIDE PAST WITH THOSE PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE ON THAT FATEFUL DAY STOPPING OF AND MEETING UP LATER SAY ON THE FRONT AT ABERYSTWYTH
