i like the do it yourself or you wont learn approach when i do stuff this week its a complete brake degrease and clean replace the rubber piston rings so if you see me coming off a slip way jumping off my bike its leaking
Good luck with that! Thats the one thing im not too confident with, dont fancy not having brakes haha! You at rivi again this weekend?
any "bolt on" type stuff I'll do my self and likewise I like to tinker but when it comes to brakes I always get them done by the mechanics. The Kawasaki main dealer (where I get a lot of stuff done) is a two minute walk from where I work so its far to convenient for my lazy ways.
Good man! Like i said to smudger, brakes are the only thing id consider letting a pro do, its just theraputic tinkering with the bike, stick on a bit of music, a nice brew, a rachet set, what more does a man need? Haha
I have recently rescued my garage from lawn mower hedge trimmer strimmer etc, put a storage box thingy in the garden and put all that stuff where it belongs, my garage now stores my bike, my tools and a fridge!! bonus
