New calipers, new discs, new hose, new yoke, new rear spring, new exhaust, new sprockets and chain, new sprocket cover, new bar grips, new camshaft, got enough here to keep myself busy over the winter anyway
So what are you going to do when the shops aren't there? You will only be able to look at pictures over the net if everyone does what you do. It costs money to keep a shop open and if we aren't spending, then bump. Your behaviour is shallow.
Some of us dont have a 30k plus job, why pay £200 for an item ypu can buy from their onlibe site for £150, a lot of sites have an online shop as well as a walk in shop, such as ghostbikes. preach to someone who is interested in your attempts at causing arguments.
If I can save money, I will. If the dufference was £5 or so then im not that fussed but when I can save more I will
We have a local car spares shop, one man operator go in and ask for something he will go out of his way to to assist and get you what you want also a brew and a chinwag ,laugh n joke none of this can be found on the internet ok he's a bob or 2 more expensive than online but i'm happy to pay that for a bit of something special if you know what i mean and no i aint well off either
Just wanting the ride to feel how i want it to do, firmer suspension, better brakes ect never happy with the standard feel, just me being a picky twat!
Is the camshaft not a bit of a waste of cash for little gain? Each to their own like but is there much point?
How long are you planning stayin on the 125 personally not to tell you what to do id of put all that cash into a DAS got a big bike then put the mods on then again ambitious to once again see this 115 from when we had a run and it was stock and better braked lol is that for that corner Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk
How did you guess? Haha. keeping it for good, commuter as well as a bigger one haha, had my A1 mod booked for a whike but it keeps getting put back due to weather.
I do the complete opposite, i mooch around the web, find what I want then go down to A&D's in Denbigh and they buy it in and fit it for me. I understand why you do what you do but when it comes to brakes in particular I always have them fitted by a pro. I am having similar fitted on Thursday, new brake discs and pads all round, new chain and sprockets, bar ends, K&N Filter. I am fortunate that I have a well paid job, but I am yet to meet a biker that hasn't at some point had to be careful about his/her expenditure. Your turn will come and good on you for modding your machine, good luck with the mods.
For me half of the joy of owning my own motorcyle is being able to tinker with it and mod it myself, took an engineering course and i like to use it haha!
