    "Ben has fallen last night and hit his head hard - he is having an operation on his head in a hospital down in oxfordshire hes in a coma but stable as far as i no!! sorry to be the bearer of bad news for you but i doubt carrie will be able to function anyway. "

    I messaged one of his friends on FB as carrie's status posted something similar,

    Hope he gets better, just sending all our best wishes to ya mate, get better soon, gutted to hear this sad news am sure this goes for all your friends!

    Heard about this on the run out this afternoon.

    Andy spoke briefly with Carrie and it's nothing to do with the bike. It seems he fell off a wall and hit his head after a few too many drinks. The emergency services decided to put him into a medically induced coma to prevent further damage and he's down in Oxford for surgery.

    My thoughts are with him and Carrie and let's hope there's some good news very soon.
