Old post this but I'm thinking of getting my suspension set up properly as I think I'm to heavy for the base setting on my zx6r.. Will they do it or just say I need new springs..

yep they will sort it out easy enough…they set the static sag for around 10 mm if they can't do this they might advise you to have a heavy spring …i have no idea of your weight or the age of the bike, but it is poss the spring on yours is past its sell by date and thats why your finding it soft…setting up suspension costs peanuts compared to engine performance mods…and you get a nice handling bike at the end of it

They worked wonders with the R6 first thing i done when i bought it. Makes the world of difference, best £50 i've ever spent

You are a tad on the heavy side as they are designed for nine stone jap riders ...... However I'm sure nick and Andy can dial in what's required to make your bike feel planted in the bends and not wallowing around

Just a tad ;). It's booked in for Monday so hopefully it will make noticeable improvements...

tbh i heard some horror story's of kais.
people paying for work to be done which doesn't get done.

personally i would pay the £50 some company's charge on a trackday to work with you all day and fine tune the suspension.
if i was going to upgrade any suspension my first place would be k-tech, after looking round the race paddock and seeing how many racers use them at all levels from club to bsb.

What did they do exactly? And for how much around? (Looking at getting mine sorted, feels a bit soft leaving corners)

They adjusted all the rebound and damping to make the bike more balanced and sit you on the bike to make sure the sag is within the correct boundaries.. Tbh its alien to me but my bike felt as though it would dive as I come of the throttle or braked before a corner then didn't come back up fast enough.. The back was too soft and doing the same on rebound

They did a stage one on my 996 front end and sorted the rear shock out, felt like new bike, brilliant if your gonna do a mod on your bike suspension must be the first thing you do
