    They haven't. They are just not imported into the UK. In fact most never were officially. The pocket rockets are mostly Grey Imports if I am not mistaken. The 33bhp rule for learners that were had a knock on the business too.

    Just ther crackin little bike would love to see a 63 plate gsxr 4 or r4 an so on theyd be quick but cheap to own

    the sporty imports and models we all loved back then and today stopped being developed and made due to the licencing laws changing in Japan. Back in the 80's and early 90's it was expensive to ride a superbike over there then and 400's were where it was at.
    also with the introduction of the SVA test importers vanished over night as all the profits dried up.

    There are still the odd newish model of 400 being made, but hardly any thing like the hey day of the early 90's and the 400's on offer now are - well a bit crap.

    Imagine of R&D continued and they were still churning out bikes like the NC30 made to todays standards, imagine how much fun a 80BHP V4 weighing 150 kilos would be on the road ?
