Haven't you got that carbon RVF too?
Also seen an immaculate (besides maybe a nose come respray) VFR750 RC30 at the Scotch piper tonight, beautiful-that yours by any chance? Couldn't find an owner

Did you see that poor cbr400 nc23 :(, no screen, dent in tank, engine casing smashed, looked like it not been cleaned in 5 years, i wanted to take it away and give the poor thing a good home and rebuild lol.

I did see that and had the same thoughts, I don't clean my nearly as often as I should but I look after it. No screen must cause havoc with his mirrors

I just dont see how anyone could ride around with there bike in that state, plus it was missfiring and running lumpy when he left, poor bike :(.
No screen will also get rain into the speedo and electrics behind the clocks, even more damage to the list for the bike

Wouldn't be buying that then :/
I'm always worried about water in the electrics when I wash it but must be some level of water resistance else it'd have a roof right?

Yeah there is but with it exposed like he had it then your asking for trouble lol, i tend to stay away from the clocks when washing the bike, these little old 400's have bits and bobs water could get into and damage things lol

i do have a full carbon RVF kit - it will be going on RVF#1 this winter once moved house and settled.
Not my RC30 no, mines not been painted - been well used and wears a few battle scars mind but not painted. never been to the scotch piper.
nice to see someone else using a RC30 as they were intended and not kept in some fuckers dungeon or a glass case incase it gets dusty - it's a bloody bike for gods sake, take it outside and thrash it.

That's why i like 400's because i love they way they look and the little Honda V4's are minature marvels of engineering that the world will not see again sadly.
To me it doesn't really matter if the bikes much good or use, i buy the ones i have because i think they are pretty. case in hand for example - that NSR250SP MC28 Rothmans, hardly the fastest 250 stroker out there, but i think it is and still is the prettiest bike i have ever seen.
However i admit i am a sucker for the single sided swingarm while technically its heavier than a conventional setup. and yes white wheels, i remember people laughed at me for suggesting a RR RVF400 with white wheels - until i did it and they saw it. It just works.
