Probs just shit in the carbs as i said mate. Got a bit of something stuck in the jets bikes started running like crap, blown fuse trying to start it. Put the prime on and whatever was blocking the jets has freed itself and its running ok now? Seems like the easiest option haha.

Just out of curiosity where did you fuel up before you had the issue?

have you taken it for a long run to get it fully up to temp?

do you keep the bike outside by the way?

Its very rare that I do any distance on it.
No - its kept in a garage.

I would like to have the carbs stripped and cleaned - any recommendation who to have do it?

i can do them for you if you want? it would be worth getting it out for a run first, electrical bits can play up when they get hot.

I don't think its electrical any more. The bike was cold when tried to first start it when I replaced the main fuse and got electrics back and still had the missfire.

Either way I want to have the carbs serviced / cleaned as its well overdue.

Its MOT is due the end of the week - so will see how that goes and then I might take you up on your offer. lol

not too far from me then :)
I'll come out on a run with you at some point if you are worried about breaking down, though not on the nc30 cause we'll be having a competition to see who grinds to a halt first haha

Passed its MOT - but today its back to usual running like sh1T3!

Tried a different ECU no difference.
Anyone fancy having a look at it? I have tried all that I know how to check.

took the carbs out today and sent them to be cleaned and checked. If this doesn't sort the running problems - its getting locked away in the garage forever. lol

Well just an update and a massive thanks to Bloke. Legend of a man - went above and beyond to get the bike running right.

New rubber o-rings between the carbs and the engine (I aint that technical) and there was a split in the corner of a carb top.
New plugs and the carbs all set up and balanced and sorted leak in the exhaust + new air filter and petrol pipe.

I only got a quick ride on it before having to leave for work for the week but my word its a completely different beast.
Can't wait to get back out on it.

Big respect to Bloke and the forum.
