only good thing about this time of year up there is there isnt much foliage so you can see better round the bends. them narrow roads can be very dangerous
Yeah Lee, I have to agree that the fish was probably the best I've had for a bloody long time. So how about a summer chippy tea run up there ?
the chippy in settle square opposite the naked man cafe is superb too and easily in reach of a night ride , been there plenty of times during mid summer then take the hilly route over to Malham i just love it there
I couldnt post the one where you got 2ft air and landed on your nuts as some of it was naughty. The lad who binned has just bought a blade same as yours
I'd be more than happy to go again great roads! aslong as im not stuck behind a car... or my mum... lmao
I definitely prefer the section between Settle and Ribblehead, than Ribblehead to Hawes... Its a slower speed on the first section... Too easy to get into 3 figures on the second section, and thats not good for the licence.. I think I even caught sight of a lesser spotted RC8 up there once.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-PVcTMjcDw
Was up there last weekend some awesome roads but also some that are a bit too bumpy and up and down for my liking. Was out with a few guys, DR650, Thundercat, HP4 and me on the R1 and the DR was by far the happiest on those roads! Think it was a bit of a shortcut or something as it was nowhere near as open as the road in the video. When is this being planned for??
