hi guys and girls, had a ride to the kicking donkey last night with hales_22, and OH MY WORD was it cold, got to the kicking donkey and waited for spikey n mongoose to turn up in mongoose's lovely warm volvo, anyway to cut a long story short got back to hales's gaff for a blast on the ps3 and a warming up, only when i finally set off home, i got back and the smoke thing has returned only worse this time, dont know if its coz it was raining but it has a funny burning type smell to it and its deffo not steam but cant seem to figure out the problem, its wrecking my fooooookin head, but heres the best bit and why im GUTTED!!!, got home from work today and went in the garage to give the bike a clean and check if i could see anything wrong and guess what my fuckin tyre's flat as a witches tit....AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGH, now it means not being able to come out and play because i aint got the money for a new one and im not repairing it because ill need a new one pretty soon, so it would be pretty pointless in doing so... anyway hope to see you all soon, if not it will be in the new year sadly :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

 

Chris does this mean your not returning the bike repair before your warrenty runs out

 

deffo not fun mate it was awfull, im just gutted about the smoking thing and the tyre more than anything tho



and dont know what to do gaz, as i dont know what the problem is really and only seems to come about when its raining

 

what went through the tyre? a nail or ...?

dont know where to look gaz, and wouldnt know the names for the sites...any ideas???

 

Try for a quick fix, nip to a local petrol station/garage and look for Holts tyre repair. its in a black bottle with a spray type system on the top.

Its used for repairing caravan tyres and such. Its good stuff! I used it on my RS125 after getting a slow puncture! Give it a shot its around £11

It works very well, I put it in my RS125 and it lasted over a year lol! suffice to say the tyre was totally shagged by the time it needed changing.

 

might just do that then mate, i'll have a scout about for it and at least i might be able to make it out at weekend aye

my mate tried this you have to the and plug the tyre first ..

this is only a short term thing...if i knew you needed a tyre a had my old one one 120/70/17 not sure if would of fitted ...

when i got a new one i just left it in the shop..

Yeah tyre weld fucks ur tyre, but seen as you said you were gonna get a new tyre anyway it mite be ok.

But puncture repairs dont cost much either.

As for the smoking, is it definately smoke, and not steam that smells funny- like antifreeze?

 

could of been smoke from his ears.........i can the same smoking ears problem when they told me the price nearly fooking fell over .lol
