Very proud to say I love my bike again so glad I got rid of am r1 such a waste to watch it sitting in the house The 660 is just mega best of both worlds on an off road
this was mile little 100 miler ….prob a walk in the park compared to your route https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/S...2094f88!2m2!1d-3.010113!2d53.645708!3e0?hl=en
Cracker of an engine isnt it id consider a tenere for a bit of gentle off roading myself if they werent so bloody tall!
After 500 miles in two weeks it's a joy to ride both on an off road I'm doing moto march event which is off road focused which I may need to up grade the tyres to tkc. 80s so from now till then I'm trying to get as many miles on the tyres as I can before I take them off It's a tall bike but you can get lowering kits I like the riding height see over cars an walls the field of vision is mega And the fuelling is mind bending 250 miles on a full tank it's just keeps going Filled her up £20 ish rode 70 miles an the fuel gauge didn't even move ? But the bike not loaded with kit yet my first big rods trip is in May to piel island with panniers 1800 miles over four days of wild camping
where is this Ant ? honestly for 4 days you will need sod all ….small tent and camping gear ..wash kit ,, one change of clothes. i rode to Greece last summer with a rucksack ….wasnt camping but travel as light as you poss can
Id much rather lengthen my legs than lower a bike... then I could see over walls while walking too haha. Fuel range is my only issue on the MT. Not designed with huge ride outs in mind so I just about get 100 to my 15 litre tank with mixed riding. Still worth it though Make sure to do a write up of your trip, sounds good
your in luck RJ…..http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...eedure-surgery-patient-SIX-INCHES-taller.html this procedure means having both legs broken ..legs stretched , and pinned till the bones grow back together….check with your GP if its on the NHS..to keep the cost down we can break your legs for you if it helps ?
The full list of places il have get off ma mate I know one place were camping at is appliecross sleeping at the side of the lake the last night were staying in old train carriages that have been converted in to sleeping huts
The miles you can do on a bike when finding new places could be a factor bug with planning your never normally out of range from a fuel stop )
