I'll be making my way up the prom on me bike again, still need the exercise and it's hardly with the hassle of getting the BIKE out for a 3 mile crawl through the traffic - if you pass me wheezing along have pity :wtf:

@Clarkey I'm trying to arrange getting a few people to meet up this end for about 6:15 - 6:30 then heading up to you at Preston Dock. May be 5 - 10 mins late if your ok to hang fire until we arrive. Should be at least 5 / 6 of us maybe more with a bit of luck :)

As a few people seem to favour Preston docks, we'll stick to there

If you go into homebase car park and turn left, I'll make sure I'm there in good time

There is a Morrison's petrol station nearby, though I'd ask everyone to be ready to set off at 19:00

@Fat Bob - cool that you're bringing a few extra... Can you get there as close to 19:00 as you can please mate... Just that as there are a few of us I'm worried that if we don't get there a little early we won't all be able to park

Well Canada were ok, but my money's still on Austria, the big shells just didn't seem to have the same 'fuck me that's loud/big' quality that last weeks show had, plus there seemed to be more smoke hanging in the air that just seemed to take the edge off the crispness of the display.

Cycling back home were a bit of a laugh (well maybe the first mile), filtering past the occasional biker - obviously none of you lot, stuck behind the horse n carts, although that'll probably be me tomorrow trying to get into Southport ........

Oh - any tips for a fry-up in Southport ???

    Ciao for now
    Ian

Was a good night, I agree it wasn't as good as last week, and we weren't stood in the best place, but still very impressive. It was bloody warm tonight!

Cheers for everyone that showed up, good to meet quite a few new faces... hope you all enjoyed it :)

Yeah you need a good long exposure for fireworks and release shutter from a trigger, was difficult to hand hold it over peoples heads and keep it still
