Heya, great to see your all still excited about the ride. You guys got a mention in last night committee meeting, the only thing so far in the pipe line is a hall where you can put the bikes and have a kip in a sleeping bag, not luxury I'm afraid, how many do you think from this forum would need accommodation? Because I'm sure there's got to be a b&b that would open up at 6am if there was enough people to make it worth while, and would the majority of you only stay for a half day and then head back or are you Planning to stay the Sunday night?
    Cheers

I've actually got all the info direct from a link to your web page sarah. But if a few lads on here wana go I will link up with them

For me....I'd just ride the full route arrive in Skegness 6ish hopefully get some kip in a b an b around 7or8am till lunch. Then head home

Is it still £10 to enter ... Free t shirt etc ?

Heya, yes £10 registration but T shirts aren't free im afraid, they're £10 as well, can be bought on registration and will be sent out to you OR you can buy the on the day.
Last night I sent out a blanket email to as many B&B's as poss explaining your story, had a few responses back today, yes they'd open at 6am for you guys but they would want to know would you intend to stay just till lunch or till the next day.
This message goes out to all that are interested in accommodation, once I have more than one B&B that will agree to a 6am opening then I'll just put the info of them on here and you can sort it for yourselves. They come on no recommendation I'm afraid, just the fact that they will open up for you.

I really fancy this but a bit concerned about tiredness kicking in on way back when adrenaline worn off.
