Best place for tyres?

Should hopefully be riding my big boys bike next week and want to stick some new rubber on its rims ASAP
The rear is an original spec ( as far as I can tell for my Honda nighthawk 650 ) kings tire
And the front is a decent Michelin but always thought tyres were better being matching pairs and the rear is possibly very old and is definitely in need of replacing.
    Pretty odd sizes too
    130/90 16 67h kings tire rear
    100/90 19 57h Michelin macadam 50 front

Any one with suggestions as to where to get some decent cheap new tyres and suggestions as to what tyres I would be most grateful

yeh tbh tony is spot on..... when ive been stuck ive bought tyres from him and he'll fit free ride in out.
and advise you if your pads are low / bearings fkt.
(they do stock spares now btw)

bought a set of dunlops from m&p once on a pair deal offer - tony's price was only £20 off and that was ride in fitting as well.
nice chaps - and the kettle is always on :)

I've seen some maxxis on m&p that will do the job, but will take a ride to the suggested places first and see what they can do and how much for before I go down the tinternet route, like to spend my money in local shops if they are competitive on price, as its much easier to go back if there is a problem, and if you get to know them, they are more likely to help you out if you need it

So been looking around and can get various decent makes like Avon, continental etc fitted all in for around £200
Or I can get a set of Maxxis from M&P for just over £100
Also shopped around for tyre fitting, some places take the piss ie millennium motorcycles, £35 per wheel
And others less so far the best is £10 per wheel.
Has anyone had Maxxis tyres? I'm not gonna be caning the bike and mainly just commuting at the moment, and no wet weather if I can help it too ( got a cage for that)
Or is it really worth an extra £80 - £100 for a top brand?

Shite life span and not the grip normally found on a single compound tyre.

Sorry, but I think tyres are one thing you don't cut corners on, (see what I did there?)
    :)
When you are belting into a corner and notice water running across the road, will you think, "I wish I had payed a bit more for a decent brand?)

I agree with cliff, my bike gets fortunes spent on it and I wouldn't dream of scrimping on rubber. Its the one thing between you and the road and if its crap your gonna have issues. As for scrubs smaller sizes CRM paul has a place local where he can get smaller super corsa scrubs
