Could do with some advise with regards to tuning as im abit out of my depth with peds!

Started abit of work....

 

Have just ordered a new barrel piston and head in 47mm 80cc kit.

Need to find a 20mm without spending £60, anyone got any idea?

I think thats the gy6 rep engine honda design so have a look at there model s too you may get a cheap used one and keep a eye on the valve clearence all the ones ive seen dont like change

Thanks for the heads up dude matched the engine : Bt50-Qt - 139 4 Stroke Engine Used in loads of the Chinese shite you can find, thankfully the parts are easy to get and cheap.

With regards to valve clearances do I just loosen off the spring underneath the rocker?

 

On top of the rocker there shold be a 8mm lock nut back that off then turn the tiny square allways check and adjust when cold I think the clearence should be .6mm but check first , kymco agility uses the same engine so you could download a manual for that

Nice pal I will have a look once the new set arrives. Will order some feeler gauges now aswell.

Doesnt run an Auto-Choke but its the right size that I want (24mm) Just dont want to spend 60 on a carb!

I might have one her for free mate hang fire I'm confident I have with a manual choke

 

Be spot on if you do mate anything between 20-24mm will suit.
