hi guys my back brake is fucked i put new pads in have changed the master cylider but still no back brake. do i no have to buy rear brake caliper
When you say still no back brake, do you mean no pedal? As in the pedal goes down all the way? When you changed the master cylinder did you bleed the caliper correctly. Does the piston (s) move in the caliper?
If your not getting a pedal and have changed the master cylinder. Try getting the caliper higher than the master cylinder and then bleed it. Should remove any air thats in the system. Other wise it could be a case of pistons are siezed and need freeing off
my cuz did it for me he is a mechanic because i know shit about bikes. he changed the master cylinder because that was fucked so he put new one on then he bleed it so theres no air init but still no back brake. it will only brake going slow 5mph if im going 40mh it dont do nout really.
Honestly try the raise the caliper to bleed. I had the same problem on an aprilia spent hours bleeding it nothing. Raised the caliper 30secs and it was rock hard work perfect ever since
Oh yes sorry I forgot, the back brake helps keep the bike level, promoting better airflow up your skirt, thus cooling your fanny !
