That was my stupid fault for fitting them abit silly.... Not sitting on the switch enough. Some duck tape job done
I got my chinky one just after you got your first set just over two years ago and still not had a problem with them and I used the bike daily until 5 months ago
Shit , your having bad luck daz ......how did the brake lever cause the incident ? Was that rod too long putting pressure on the master cylinder ? As gixxer dave says , they send you a replacement plunger of the correct length , so if they send you the incorrect one, you may have some grounds for a heavy complaint......I've heard peeps say they feel loose when fitted , ie the lever has a lot of " up and down " Chin up mate , the tide has to turn
Yeah Dave it. Was actually 2mm to long so it's either the wrong one or there's issues, I've milled it and re fitted it's now perfect. I've contacted ASV and song it in writing along with damaged parts cost. I'm positive there'll worm out of it but it could have been worse
Sorry to hear this daz, tbh I like asv levers but dont think they are worth the money. I bought some off the two wheels under ur recommendation, the quality and feel is good and ive never had any problems.
id say they will definatley quote their warning in the instructions. to lift the wheel and check for any brake drag. then they will want the original parts back to inspect. which have been modified now. and that will be that.
Other side of the coin http://www.northwestbikers.net/index.php?threads/chingchong-levers.18314/page-2#post-272408
As Lee said, they will state the IOM details and ask for the parts to be returned for inspection. When it comes to any brake related items you cannot fault Accossato, really good stuff and slightly cheaper than Brembo. Daz like the lads say, the tide will turn pal.
