New bike - love it! Already removed the useless bits of plastic that obscure the top end of the frame, and the mirrors. Tail tidy and seat cowl next on the list. Cans can wait until next year.
Naked Sports Bikes are the future & yours is great, tail tidy & cans then she will be a belter Alex well done. :shades:
i dont like it. i do not like it. i Do Not like it. i dont like it. (trying to convince myself i don't like it & it isn't working) very tidy m8, bet it's light as a feather as well.... i want one. :banghead: and i still don't like it
Thanks all  See test thread. Ex-dem, so almost! Yup, the VTR has gone. I loved it and may look for another in a few years time. Probably a low mileage SP-2. But for now, I wanted something a little more practical and newer. If you can call something that drinks fuel practical. I went for a run out for a couple of hours today - a very enthusiastic run out, that is. Filled the tank in the morning. Reserve light came on at 72 miles! That's 13 odd litres. 25mpg. I didn't think I could get much worse than the SP-1, but that very rarely dipped below 32mpg. Better calm down a little or I'll have to contemplate giving up beer to fund the petrol!
Love the colour.. love the style.. love the noise.. stunning bike and an excellent choice Alex.......ENJOY :shades:  :green:
Looks very snazzy! Youll have heads turning on that...does this mean youll get some white leathers like daz? or is that a silly question? Why dont you want mirrors though?
haha! I'd only done about 10 miles on it at that point. Don't know whether it's the bike or whether they're actually decent, but rather impressed with the Dunflop Qualifier RR tyres on the Tuono. Still not quite Racetecs though. No white leathers. I took the Mirrors off the Husky and actually quite liked it. The only real benefit of having them as far as I could tell is to be able to quickly check there aren't any police behind before gunning it. But it's easy enough to look back. Plus, the Tuono mirrors are a bit useless. Not quite Ducati useless, but nowhere near as good as Honda mirrors.
