thats good mate-dont try to go quicker-try to go smoother and the speed comes naturally. The track at anglesey is probably one of the smoothest tracks around and very very grippy
there ya go elliot ! i was a bit far away and only armed with a small camera other wise they would have been better
Looks like you had a good day on the sunday. Was sold out when I got round to it. Glad I didnt book the mon if it was a wash out.
running and standing water on track Rich..NO THANKS !! I'd say 80% of the people who booked both days left this morning when they woke up ! Oulton on 2nd may mate ?
Could well be up for the 2nd Chris. Is that with no limits? They were offering 2 days for under £250, very tempting.
Will have a look see whats happening with work on the 2nd. Not so keen on FE, I think its a bit reckless the way they try to fill there groups up putting anyone in any group.
Lol, the best corners of the track are impossiable to get to, to spectate! Actually really impressed with those pics. Gonna think of a few i want and get them bought
Elliot are you a happy bunny now you have the first one out of the way? You looked like you enjoyed it. I got the bike finished at 11pm got everything packed and woke up at 6am Monday then went back to bed lol shitty weather!!
Yes very happy indeed. Think I'm gonna book Anglesey again around june time. Just got to change a few things on the bike. I'll problem only ride Anglesey this year and progress on that track then next year add oulton to the mix. Rather get comfy in 1/2 tracks than shot myself everywhere lol
To be completely honest Elliott, I'd advise a different track for your next TD. If you get too used to Anglesey, it'll be harder to adjust to a new track as you'll compound any bad habits you're starting to form. Oulton is a great track and if you get some instruction/advice while you're there, it'll bring you on leaps and bounds as you'll be able to consolidate what you've already learned as well as learn new corners etc. I'm looking at Oulton for my next TD, probs sometime in May/June.
Oulton is at the moment the only other track i want to ride but unfortunetly its with MSV who dont like restricted riders, so until June next year i cant ride there. Could do something like cadwell tho? Anyway june time ill be on track just dont know where!
There is a road legal bike track day in July organised by bike mag in conjunction with MSV at oulton, im sure you would be ok on that.
I know its a bit dated now but SV4ME off .org has put his clips together (the ones with me in) and put them on tube of the you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GE3C6-mu0A&feature=player_embedded
Nice1 mate! love Anglesey here a vid from last Easter bit different from this year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6W8rnV4BWQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Great lines. Bikes well in the power and when it's needs to be. Really smooth riding and calculated overtakes Great track grippy on days like that ! People who haven't rode this track before should watch vids like this , gives a great guide to the way the track goes and the correct lines Thanks for posting that
