gotta half agree with rich re the finish on all the manufactures bike at present , Hondas used to be half inch thick in primer and paint and laquer. even BMW seem to be cutting corners, a few S1K riders i know have complained that the paint on the tank is wearing were they grip with the thighs ! so i can imagine Triumph also cutting back on things like this . Kawasaki do one prime one undercoat one top coat . its wafer thin .

Dude - a word of advice - NO . . . . . . . . don't do it, but if you really really must, then make sure its the later suzuki engined bikes and even then the vibes will have you, and for god sake dont even think about taking it outside when its slightly damp
