https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=ztd2EIh4QlZA.kNSr2UcD1YV8 FOR SOME REAON IT WONT LET ME DRAW THE ROADS ON . I have gone for minimum traffic route and missed out scenic bits for better roads because its dark . I will be at mac d for 5:30 Might possibly change route to hit Hathersage by 8:30.... Missed out roads prone to cow shite etc with it being dark , some slow and some fast bits , will wait as per usual at every junction we change direction so no one gets left anywhere. Blue sky here at the moment (2:320)
not many actualy Mozz... 70-80 tops ..... its a fairly short route compared to what we would normally do in daylight
Awestruck! I am never going to lead a ride round the Peaks again. Why have the stress? Just get RR Dave out and put him on point, chill out and enjoy amazing places, entertaining roads. Just give a destination and a deadline and worry no more. Dave, that was an impressively constructed ride, superbly timed. I am impressed. Thanks to Moss, Baldrick, Stueo and Lee for the company.
Well , good run out guys , thanks ....and food as well...... ..... think I have eye strain now cheers for the comments Kev,I must admit its the first planned ride in the dark for most of it but the rain held off, the temp wasn't too cold and we kept up a reasonable pace without loads of fag breaks ... Anyway glad you enjoyed it .
well 200 mile from door to door and its good to get some time on the bike, route wernt my cup of tea but rad did well kept the group together, great tea at the pub, good comming through the snake even if i couldnt see shit, rad on the other hand was goooooooonnnnnnnneeeeeeeee
Sorry the narrow bits spoilt the ride for you Mozz , but had to cut corners to keep it interesting and get to the pub at the agreed time , I think if you join in on A Spring run on the faster roads or do it in the daylight to see all you missed tonight you would get more out of it, on the other hand some rides I do would favour adventure bikes,,,,or small boats
Think we might have to have a bangers and mash night more regularly, to go with the chippy run and the kebab run
