I like the idea of a route to include Spa and Nurburgring, covering four or five days is probably best for most people

I`ve done the Cannes/Grenoble run 5 times and I can tell all that its unbelievable,fantastic,awsome,beautiful and in some parts demanding.Also done the Napoleon Pass in june and been surrounded in snow wtf.I posted a link a while ago about the trip written by a guy who came with us and was a journalist for a bike mag,his piece even made it into the mag.I`ll try and find it and post it up.BTW,I would love to go to europe again.

As mentioned by Martin,France have some strict saftey laws now,ie:-spare bulbs,hi viz,breathaliser which have to be with you on the vehicle,sounds daft to me.
and also you get a 200 euro fine for having sat nav alerting you to the thousands of new speed cameras - not all front facing either. and lots and lots of expensive toll roads. and hairy women with garlic breath. i'd rather avoid france tbh

do it then you puffs. get saving for early summer. we'll need to organise and book ferries by easter at the latest before the price goes up.
They don't enforce spare bulbs on bikes (according to me mate who's out there) breatherlizer will be enforced from Jan 2013, best to carry a hi viz anyway. Whats more bikes will also have to have an inspection (MOT) not sure from when, as they don't have one now. I'm prob doing a run down to the Alps to deliver the TLs in March April time. Not sure if I'm coming back plane or pillion yet.

Are u Bell sniffs doing this or what ? 1st week in June straight after the tt I'm in Germany on my bike so I will be able to meet I'm in koblenz with the ktm lads as a base so this is your one and only invite I can supply you with dates and ferry crossing details and places close by to stay the rest is up to you but there will be ring action, there will be black forest action, there will be a castle run and there will be no motorways.
