Thanks Eddie..will keep an eye out on DBs website ..hope you had a good day any idea how much was raised ?
350 dave .and counted 84 bikes on video from 50cc scoots through to zzr's and a couple of side car outfits
here one in paper http://www.southportvisiter.co.uk/news/southport-news/150-bikers-dressed-father-christmas-8209372
I think the only saving grace is the NWAA get £350 oh and t he attention seeking one got her name.in the paper
Ok its a bit late for.this year but as bob posted this i think he should be the one to organise this.......The stay at home and not go out in the cold looking like twats run. This is what i suggest. Cost of a santa Suit=£5 Cost of donation looking at the average=£2 Petrol used going for a ride to some pointles place =£5 So if every member just.donates £10 and stays off there bikes that day we will be saving the enviroment but we could give a kids toy appeal a good wedge just before christmas
Got to admit £350 for the number that turned up was pretty dissapointing, specially as a tenner of it were mine - still at least it was a nice sunny day and me bike made it onto the piccy .... .......
No doubt your not the only one who threw a tenner or more in... That means there must have been some tight bastards thats never put a penny in!
Agreed, would be interesting to see if November's M60 ring of red raised a directly proportionate amount .... £/biker .........
Moz that sounds like a great idea for a worthy local cause. Can site administrators task Moz with arranging this? PayPal or similar? By example I'll put myself down as needing some self gratification and donate the required £10
Moz will just volunteer someone else..... Maybe it would be nice one year to do a little toy run for a local hospital or something at Christmas.
Moz is misunderstood on this forum and is actually a genuine bloke with a heart of gold...a bit gobby but still a heart of gold. A toy run to a local hospital sounds a good idea, but it takes more than a handful of people to donate. If a large number of NWB members participated then I believe it could be something quite special.
