If you're turing left? Why would it matter if the other vehicle exits the junction. (emerging from the minor to major) when you're turing from major to minor.
As I say, it is a busy road. Them realising I am turning may give them the opportunity to emerge as I turn in. It's called, "being considerate to other road users" and we should,"give an indication when it is helpful to do so".
Busy or not you're going LEFT! The other vehicle will exit the junction if you're going LEFT! Arm signal or not. If you're indicating to turn LEFT and the other vehicle fails to see it, they shouldn't move until safe to do so. Now... Same as above! You're indicating to turn LEFT (with arm signal) the other vehicle sees the arm signal and exits the junction. Knowing you're going to turn left why should it matter if the other vehicle exits the junction before you enter the junction??
Because the sun is behind me, seeing my indicate is difficult, where as the silhouette of my arm is clearer. I gain no advantage. The other road user gains. Just being considerate and helpful.
What about that one time you wave at your mate walking down the road and some twat pulls out on you, he thought you waved him out.
Sorry all, missed a lifetime here reading up on the comments ... But back to Smudgers post and a question or two.... 1. How did you get your new led flashy rear light to play tunes? 2. Can you change the music played (cos that was crap). 3. How loud is your brake light in db? & thank feck for a final... 4. Does it sound dimmer if you over tighten your chain? Dave
You decided???? That to me is official clarification thet Rob's testicles are located well and truly in your handbag. If my Mrs ever gets any grand designs on my bike she will find my left bike boot firmly inserted up her left nostril. You mean Jazzi's choice??
