Not arsed if someone gets a ticked. Just didn't want anyone "giving the middle finger" from a hospital bed.
I wouldn't bother mate...this forum is divided between the IAM is everything crew and the "i know it all with no training or know how" crews, you'll never get through to either
I know exactly what you are saying but if you seen mine compared to the oem unit it's a lot brighter and more noticeable, and it I get some cock up my arse and I'm about to signal I do give a indication with Mt arm also
I'm not even a member of this forum! I'm just passing through! I just sit in the corner tutting at people attacking their headstocks with a hammer and chisel
I love the law and order on this forum never seen so many topics go well and trulley off topic as of the original topic question. Nevermind I've forgotten the question. As of the stuff I have done I can laugh about I can laugh even more as it always gets bought up as it must mean I've left you all with a lasting impression which is good anyway before I start one of these handbag fights I'm going pushing cyclist over
Ok i've still not made my mind up on the intergrated optoin yet. Main reason i'm swoping my light unit was to get rid of my massive oem indicaters they are like portable tv's (1992 cbr600f). So my other option is smaller blinkers. I was thinking about the oxford non led arrow type but i have read mixed reports on them, some like them some say complete shite. Anybody had any and what did you think about them? Also any others non led you would recommend? Cheers in advance for any help.
TBH pal I only got the integrated light for looks. If you're concerned about other road users or the safety nazis go for the smaller LED turn signals. I haven't even looked at the LED ones so I wouldn't know. Sorry dude.
Its just one particular junction that I use on a daily basis. You go left around a tight bend and then turn left at a junction onto another road. People are usually waiting to pull out and don't often spot the indicator (you aren't visible for very long after coming around the bend!) So I stick my left arm out if anyone is waiting there just to be polite. I'm nice like that.
Similar, on my commute I make a LHT from a busy major road on to a minor road. The major road I am travelling west so the morning sun is low behind me. Traffic is nearly always waiting to emerge from the minor road and I can see them squinting against the sun. Figure it is easier for them to see me hand signalling as a silhouette than pick out a 21w bulb against the sun as a back drop.
