usual places for parts include ebay / berties bike breakers / blacks motorcycle salvage / cheshire motorcycle salvage etc.

thats got to be some sort of record? crashed in 4 days.

you going to share with the class what happened?

hope your ok and the bike is sorted asap.

ps if your looking for a solicitor im assuming someone else caused the accident? so they should pay for proper repairs instead of you searching for second hand stuff.

good luck with the bike.... but dont touch it til it's been assessed - i ended up getting mine back for £70 and full book price on it, and it hasnt been recorded as a write off!

    best solicitors are http://www.whitedalton.co.uk/ & http://www.sorrymate.com/

sorry mate is run by fergus dalgarno who sponsored jenny tinmouth last few seasons on the 600s & now sponsor (i think) loris baz.

i used them for my claim against lancs council & they were ok but a little slow, but guess thats just how the system works.
its a bit quicker if you are claiming against an insured person.
make some calls before you do anything.
sorrymate, you can start your claim online from that link & then dalgarno solicitors will call you tomorrow.

4 days. You've just taken the crown off Spikey, from his R1.

What did he manage before smashing it? 11 days was it?

Glad you seem to be ok mate. As for parts, some good pointers on the breakers there plus also get onto as many owners forums for your bike as you can - no harm in asking around :)

Whack some photos up of the damage so we can see how bad it is.

as per vvtr, dont do anything until its been assessed by your insurance.

Ignore the bike until they say you can buy it (after being wrote off) and focus on fucking the cage driver in the back door. You'll be back on a bike in no time weather it be this one or a better one paid by thus daft lady :D

    Glad your well

to be honest most bike breakers advertise all parts on eBay now....apart from suggested I dont know of any more really...
just sit on it & wait for your claim, you may be able to go get a new one
if you can buy it back, do so as you will still have your bike & a pocket full of repair money to add your own taste's :green:

Pitstop motorcycles in lowton did a rather good job of my kwak & I even told him to make sure the insurance didnt write it off cos of the repair bill.
I got it fully repaired & a service & 2 new tyres :santa: that was on a 2002 A1p with 6000 on the clock last year....

would you still buy it back if its recorded john?
id be worried about selling it on as personally i wouldnt touch a recorded bike. and if you could shift it, it would fetch a lot less money?

if it was my own bike & it came in as a cat d then yes I would. he knows where it's been & whats happened to it.
it should be cheap to buy back in the 1st place, so the resale value should be a bit more than you pay for it off the insurance company plus getting paid out for the bike also dont forget...
not all bike companies sell bikes back to the owners due to salvage rights..

Also remember not all damage is recorded so you could buy a straight bike thats been repaired cos the owner was 3rd party & crashed it himself.
the dead giveaway is normally a fork change

theres over £2000 to be made if i break it!
