Right as you know ive crashed the bike.

Im probably not going to be able get the frigger back on the road as i dont have the cash.

So im thinking im going to ask for a loan off the bank £2500, pay £500 for test or less and get a bigger bike.

However as im going on placements soon i need transport, so do i do the above or go get a shit 125 on finance?

Plus being on £600 a month will anyone give me a loan?

If u are happy with 125's and will keep it for a good while then you might aswel get that. However, as u described it as 'shit' im gonna say u aint. If your gonna do your test anyway, you might aswel take this opportunity to sort it out. I see it as too much effort to get another 125 and then a bigger one pretty soon.

Personally id go for the test and get a bigger one. As for the loan, many people will give you one on that wage depending on your credit history and how much of it goes out.

OR, im gettin rid of my gpr soon! ;)

My credit history isnt the best. I owe £700 on my credit card. and £800 on another loan. Only ever missed one payment on my credit card.

    My monthly outgoings are

    Mob £40
    Loan £43
insurance £16 for the 125, it'd go up to 35 for a bigger bike

Ive got a part time job so will do some more hours to take it up to £790 a month.

don't like loans, but ifyour gonna do it, then get a bigger bike, no question

test shouldn't cost anywhere near£500, i paid £400 and that was cbt, lessons, theory and practical, and bike hire

with £2000 - 2200 to spend after test money. Id probably be looking at

    Kawasaki Zx6R G2's or possibly J models

    Suzuki Gsxr Srad's

Id really like an R6 in red and white please, but dont think id pick one up for that money :(

for that sort of money you will end up with something awesome, scour the net and you'll find a bargain

You'd be stretching yourself a bit mate, what if the bike needs a major service or god forbid it gets binned, will you have the cash to get it sorted?

I know Toby but this time im going to stay fully comp, so if the worst happens im covered that way. And i'll probably garage it for till i save up.

I cant live without transport, as theres no way i can get to Burnley via public transport if im doing a 0600 - 1530 shift.

Oh ffs how many times?

Do your frigging test. If you're not going to then at least stop riding around the place without the l-plates you should be displaying and making yourself into a bloody target.......... :x

I can't believe you're still dithering about this, you've been asking the same question for bloody ages, you get the same answers every time and all that happens is you come back a few months later with the same bloody question but owing even more money out! :bleh:

Sort yerself out Marc. Seems that your financial position is getting worse not better. Get a pushbike or the bus to go to your placements, go out a bit less, cut down on the fags, if necessary get the loan to clear off what you already owe but this time spend the extra cash on what you planned to, don't just fritter it away.

/mum mode, sorry sometimes being old sucks..........

    Well thats the plan!

Just gotta wait a month till i get my bank statement then applying for a loan. So will have £2200 spend on a bike.

    Want Either a

    ZX6R G Model maybe a J at a push

    or

Yamaha R6 in red and white.

Only one of the above as im picky, prefer an R6 tho as i have a point to prove to someone ;)

    Watch this space.
