I'm buying a new car soon, brand new on finance while I have the money and am not paying out for much. However, a deciding factor between which car to get will be insurance and its going to be high anyway.
So how best do I try to get cheaper insurance? as a young driver its a pain in the arse and so far i've always been named on cars so no NCD.........help :)

Put someone in your family as a named driver. It helps abit but it's always going to be expensive mate. I am 22 and been driving 5 years and still pay a lot for my car. Mind you I do have 3 pts

I would suggest a pug as all you pay for is fuel! The insurance, car payments, servicing etc are all included in the costs!! Good way to start off I would imagine!

I'd say a VW polo with the free insurance but £11,000 for a new polo?!

    A 1.2?

Not even joking I hate this country.

Might sting abit mate, but my car i paid 3.5k for 2.5k a year for insurance. £425 tax £150-200 petrol and then any repairs cost a fortune even though I work for the company that made it.

3 years warranty 80mpg and 1yr insurance sounds great :)

Might be able to get you some discount if you fancy a corsa. I work at vauxhall on manchester rd. give me a bell and ill set summat up for you. Regarding insurance i would be trying to get GAP insurance so if the worst happens your not still paying finance on a car you no longer own.

Its on my list of maybes so i'll keep that in mind :) thanks

With the free insurance deals theyre usually filled with t's and c's and being only 20 the 21 minimum age usually stops me :/

You may be alright there mate as you usually have to be 21 to get finance aswell but I was accepted for finance when I was 20
